I would end up taking 3-4 darvocet for cramps for the first few days and use the heating pad. Of course my stomach had no idea what to do from nausea to d to c. My doc finally had me try the NuvaRing. I've tried many other BC but they didn't work for me. I keep the ring in continueously so that I don't have my periods anymore. It's totally ok to do this and I feel soooooo much better.
