I take Miralax which is supposed to be the most mild and you can take it daily. You have to be careful with regular laxatives though. They can cause a build up of pigment in your colon which can cause pain as well. I never used to use them but have the pigment anyhow. The miralax keeps things moving and doesn't cause any pain. It does cause bloating in some people.
