I completely understand what you're going through! I have had two ulcers myself in the past six months. The first time they found H. Pylori the GI specialist I was seeing gave me a similar "triple" medication which was supposed to make bacteria go away. However, after finishing the set of antibiotics and other medication, my IBS symptoms intensified. Turns out, the H.Pylori wasn't actually gone, but because the GI I was seeing was horrible (sorry, but true), he never did the breath test afterwards to make sure the bacteria was gone. So, four months later, my new GI (who is so much better, probably because he has Crohn's himself) did the breath test and a second, less invasive round of treatment to get rid of the H.Pylori. I have to say, my IBS symptoms were definitely better after that, although marginally. That was also just before I discovered this website. But I know what you mean -- you just want to say "what else can you throw at me!?!" Thank goodness for this website and knowing we are not alone
