I had some blood work done not too long ago...maybe a month...but I'm not sure they checked for salt/electrolytes. It seems allergies (hay fever aka rhinitus) has been the cause of my asthma and chronic infections (sinusitis and bronchitus). I am learning that salt seems to exacerbate the prob...prob because it dries me out (I'm not talking about a little sodium...I'm talking about tons!) I also know it makes me bloat! I think all of this is normal...if it doesn't sound right to you, I'm curious to hear your opinion.
