I am pretty sure that psyllium is regarded as not safe for IBSers; you might want to stop using that for awhile and see what happens. Natural Calm would be a MUCH better supplement to use for C. I use it every night and it works wonders.

Consider giving Heather's acacia a try.

As you're first starting the diet, it may seem as though there's no rhyme or reason for the way you react to certain foods. Foods that are "safe" may cause IBS symptoms while triggers do nothing. What's really going on is that your GI system is trying to heal; you need to cut out ALL triggers and eat safe foods. Trust us that in time, your system will heal and the safe foods will no longer bother you! If you're going to eat IF, make sure it is thoroughly cooked and/or pureed so it's easier to digest. Soups and smoothies are a great way to do this.
