I have however tried some valerian (herbal for valium) for the cramping. It worked pretty good. I also like to take kava kava, it's an herbal form of muscle relaxer. I usually only take these before bed or if I'm just staying at home because they will make you a little drowsy. I like to take papaya enzymes after a meal to help with digestion and gas.
