Hi, I am so sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch. IBS sure can hit with a vengence! Do you take SFS? Maybe it is time to increase, if you do. Maybe you picked up a tummy bug, and it is not directly related to your IBS. PMS and stress are really hard on the tum. I would definitely avoid dairy for now, and I would adhere to Heather's diet. When my tummy acts up (IBS-D, w/pain) I eat rice, potatoes, French bread, rice cereal, fat-free saltines, and homemade oatmeal bread for a couple of days, plus I take Pepto Bismol. That seems to help get it back under control. Do you take probiotics? Maybe you need some good bacteria in there. And don't worry about a man...he will love you for the person you are.
