You'll find that a lot of people eat a lot of soluble fiber foods, but not all of us eat like that. I, for one, eat mostly INsoluble foods - lots of veggies, lots of raw food. It's prompted people to tease me in the past that maybe I really don't have IBS, but it's really indicative of one of the basic truths of IBS: everyone's body is different.

The general rule is to add insoluble fiber foods in, preferably one at a time, slowly - meaning, small amounts at first. Gradually you should increase insolubles to as much of them as you can tolerate. For me, that's meant A LOT... for some people, it's not much at all. Unfortunately, the only way to get there is to experiment on your own.

I'll try to find the most recent post about what I eat, so I don't have to type that all out again.
