Re: Substitutes for tofu -       03/23/07 09:11 PM Edit Reply Quote TeriG Reged: 04/23/06 Posts: 4 Loc: British Columbia, Canada Well, after perusing the internet and asking a lot of questions elsewhere, I found the only information I could get was on seitan, which is a gluten substitute for tofu. Since it's made from wheat, I have my suspicians this might not be a good thing, but what they hey, I'll give it a try and hope for the best. It might now work as a substitute for soft tofu, but I may just have to skip trying out the recipes that have that ingredient in it.
