Hi, I posted the other day about the problems I am having since my hysterectomy, but last night I had an IBS attack that scared me to death. It was so severe that I literally felt like someone had drilled a hole in me and was draining my blood, I got very faint and could feel that blood going out of my face, while I was on the toilet, my legs became numb and tingly and my right arm did the same, except I couldn't move my right arm. I know it sounds like a blood flow restriction and I did have my favorite gi, (who is now retired) do a CT to check my blood flow in my abdomen years back and he said it was ok, anyway, I was also told that when the colon is in spasm and contracting it is pulling necessary blood from the heart so it can function properly, but what happened last night scared the crap out of me. (literally) ha ha. Sorry, I'm trying to stay positive. I really felt like I had a stroke or a seizure. Has anyone ever experience this? I called my new GI doc this am and left a message with the nurse, but I feel stupid trying to explain this to people. I just needed to vent and see if anyone else had ever experienced one this bad? Thanks
