IBS doesn't always respond perfectly to completely natural intervention, so that shouldn't necessarily be considered a signal that something else is wrong, but if you've never had the full battery of tests, it IS a good idea to rule out everything else. Plus, yeah, there are drugs out there that might help... it's good to not rule anything out at this point, till you've been to a doctor. I know it sucks and it's scary, but hang in there.
