Sleep - Quality vs quantity

I've noticed that for me, quality of sleep has more of an immediate effect than quantity, IBS-wise. An occasional very late night doesn't seem to be a problem, as long as the sleep I do get is uninterrupted and restful. But just one night of restless sleep, even if I get to bed on time, and I'll have a very rough morning.
