Question about vitamins and gelatin

I have found a vitamin/mineral supplement that I think I will try since it contains half the daily dose which means you can take it twice a day instead of once which I'm thinking might help decrease the risk of side effects.

One pill contains 60 mg of vitamin C though (as the pills are for women they have put the daily dose at 120 mg). Is that a safe dose? (As I have understood, vitamin C is the vitamin that is most likely to cause GI problems.)

The vitamins contain gelatin too. Is that ok?

They also contain calcium and magnesium at a 2:1 ratio I believe. Is that ok? I just want to get the minerals I need and not mess with the balance in my bowels.
