My daughter is IBS-C and not able to communicate with me as she is nonverbal and other special needs. I know that soymilk gives her very painful gas and pain. SHe is lactose intolerant so have been using lactaid milk. I took her totally off of dairy, gluten & casein for about 8 months but never saw any improvement with her gas, stools and abdominal pain so I felt that dairy wasn't the issue for her. I have tried Rice milk but did see some of the constipating effect and subsequently gas as well which she cannot tolerate. She also has food intolerance to almonds so can't do that type of milk. She does fine with regular white rice so I was curious if there was a rice milk made from that. I was at the store today and RIce dream is made from brown rice but Westsoy Rice brand milk just says partially milled rice so wondering if that meant white rice then. Would you know?
