But I saw that no one responded to your post so I wanted to reach out to you. It sounds like you are feeling awful. I have gastritis too but I've never heard of the med you're talking about. I was given Nexium for it. Mine was not in the esophagus like heartburn...it was more in my upper stomach where you feel nauseaous. Does your diet matter? Of course acidic foods can aggravate it, plus I noticed that if I ate too much or didn't eat at all, I would feel worse. Try to eat small meals and keep your belly full. Hope that helps.
