Half a sandwich now and half later definitely helps me feel better. I have a 9:30 break and I eat 2 pieces of fruit and a luna bar minimum. Then at lunch I eat no more than a small tupperware container of food and maybe an orange. Then at 2:30 I eat a banana and some pineapple usually. If I ate 2 half size dinners I would feel much better. Although I can eat a huge breakfast and have no problems.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
