I am up to a tablespoon of Acacia mixed with water in the morning, then another tablespoon of Acacia when I get home from work before dinner. I have a tablespoon of ground flaxseed in a fruit smoothie along with my dinner. If I don't want a smoothie, I sprinkle the ground flaxseed on my dinner. It has a nutty flavor. I usually have a baked potato, pasta, or rice with my lunch and dinner and add in any vegetable that does not give me "problems" that would give me my IF. It took me 6 months to get to this point by starting out very slowly with the Acacia & ground flaxseed. I increased the flaxseed as I increased the Acacia, very slowly. I am having a BM every morning with complete evacuation. I do still have pain from gas, but instead of it being an 8 on a scale of 1-10, it is usually a 2 and that is only at night. I have no pain in the morning. I contribute this to the fact that during my sleep I was able to completely relax, and there is no anxiety in the morning. I have completely gone through the Hypno tapes, and feel this has been a major factor also. I plan on starting the tapes again in February. I do still have pain at an 8 occasionally, but I can usually figure out why. Anxiety is my worse enemy!!! Hope this helps.
