IBS and Panic Attacks       01/10/07 04:52 AM Edit Reply Quote suziieq Reged: 01/10/07 Posts: 1 Loc: Arkansas Hi everyone I am new to this forum but so glad I found it. I have IBS, Fibro and CFS. I went to my doctor yesterday because the Panic attacks are really out of hand right now and I asked her if it can be related to the fact that my IBS is going nuts too. She said "it most certainly can" wow was I amazed. She told me that for some reason Seretonin is produced in the Intestional tract and having IBS attacks can mess up our Seretonin levels and trigger the panic attacks. So hey it almost in some ways made me feel better, hey I am not crazy (grin), my darn IBS just is. I just thought I would post this info for anyone who would like to know about it.
