Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Re: More confused then ever.....Night attacks, for dhaggerty

Thank God, someone who is like me.......I used citrucel and acacia, I drink a lot of fennel and peppermint tea, more peppermint lately!!! Cause the pain is worse. Do you take any RX"S anti-spasmodics or anxiety or depression meds, if you don't mind me asking? How long have you had these attacks? If you are like me the worst part of the nightly attacks, is that your sleeping so soundly then awakened by this awful cramping pain which may continue for hours before you blow, then you up several times during the night and by the time it's time to get some rest, it's just about time to get up and then you HAVE to go to work, on like three hours sleep because NO ONE understand when you have to call in and say you had an IBS attack two or three times a week.........so tired of this.
