Also, you can always have a side of steamed veggies. For example, fish, rice, and steamed broccoli/cauliflower/carrots & peas - whatever. Sometimes I have steamed yellow squash or zuccini, but I'll half peel the skin to get a little insoluble in since the squash is soluble fiber anyway. Try the pureed bean dips with some baked corn chips. This is all I can think of off the top of my head, but if I looked through the book or the recipe exchange index, I'm sure I'd find more options. What specific recipe are you looking at in the book? Maybe we can help you figure out a modification to the recipe for your reflux? Sorry - I don't know anything about the calcium and acid reflux absorption. Hopefully Heather or someone else will have more info for you on that. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
