Depressing day... Advice/Encouragment needed please       12/06/06 06:45 AM Edit Reply Quote portrgirl Reged: 11/15/06 Posts: 28 Some of you may have read my posts yesterday about a possible wheat allergy. I spoke to my allergist and we ruled that out with the results of my avoidance diet. However, he wants me to get a blood test for celiac disease and if that comes out negative (which he said it may even if I have it as it's not very sensitive) I need to do a 3-4 week avoidance diet of all gluten. I'm not even sure it's worth it since I have C, not D, and am not nearly as bad off with pains, attacks, etc. as some people on here seem. I guess it is only a month of my life though... I barely slept last night and when I did it was nightmares about food... how anything I ate made me sick, how I doubted anything was safe. Now I'm not having the best day. I guess I need some encouragment. I really just want to feel healthy and normal and go about my life. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
