You don't have to give up your iced tea!!!! Just make your own - made with your favourite tea (decaf version). As long as it's decaf, it's probably safe. Sugar is safe, add a splash of lemon and tada! A perfectly safe and yummy iced tea.
As for salads, be careful. I LOVE salads, but my IBS doesn't tolerate them well. Look for low fat, non creamy salad dressings. Catalina, French, Italian, Balsamic, etc. Read the labels carefully. Low fat and fat free are your best option. Or if you're crafty - make your own! Throw a little oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, dash garlic powder, any other spices you like, and mix in a shakeable jar. Keep your salad portions small, and at the end of a meal.
