Thanks for the advice. You may be right that I can't handle the higher dosage. But I still think the amount of water that is actually mixed with the powder would make a difference (not the water you drink after you take the powder mix as you say), because the consistency of the mix is so different depending on the water.

NOTE TO HEATHER: In your "All About Soluble Fiber Supplements" document on your Web site, you advise starting with a low 1/2 teaspoon powder dosage, adding slowly, taking 2 dosages a day rather than one, drinking plenty of water....but no where do you indicate whether there should be a proportionate amount of water (based on the standard 1 tablespoon with 8 oz. of water for Citrucel) or a minimum amount of water taken with the dose, regardless of the dose size? I would really appreciate your advice.
