Refaximim - For Sufferers of IBS       11/20/06 08:43 AM Edit Reply Quote New Cook Reged: 05/10/05 Posts: 22 In yesterday's (Sunday - 19 Nov) Parade Magazine there is an article by a doctor (page 21) that addresses a new medicine researched by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in which a 10-day course of treatment with the drug Refaximim can control IBS for 10 weeks. I intend to speak with my doctor about this treatment as he (among the few) believes in diagnosing IBS. The article also indicates that the drug has been in use for some time to treat "Traveler's Diarrhea". Has anyone heard of this before? John - IBS-D Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
