I am sorry and don't want to be rude, but I have seen numerous people respond to desperate posts and I can't believe there is no one on here that could offer me advice?
I was desparate and after taking the MOM, I also drank a glass of prune juice. I blasted for hours afterwards and since I didn't know what to do to releave my C, which I never have, I will never mix MOM and prune juice again. Is there anyone who has experienced C, but is usually D and can offer some advice in case this happens again?

Also, isn't there someone on here who has had a major surgery that can offer advice for regulating my bowels after the surgery? If you don't want to discuss the surgery on the board, I would welcome a private e-mail.

Please anyone...............

Hi all, I have not posted in a while, not because I got better.......just dealing with the same old IBS stuff and never find a solution. Anyway, I need help with two things, one is I have always been a D IBSr and I am so bloated and cannot have a BM it's got me worried. I don't know what to take for constipation. I have stopped all my RX meds for IBS, Librax, Levsin, I have been continuing my Acacia, I have been taking the pepperming caps, and fennel tea, and drinking lots of water, but I have absolutely no appetite and I look like I'm 7 month pregnant. I tried MOM yesterday and today, with very little relief and my mother in law suggested prune juice.........All in all, I DO NOT want to go to the ER because they never do anything anyway........any suggestions on how I can get this moving????

Also does anyone know if you can mix fibers? I have been trying the Acacia since June and at first thought it was helping, I gradually switched from my citrucel caplets to the Acacia, but my attacks are worse then ever. The reason I switched was cost, the citrucel is so expensive and in order to get my SF in besides food, I have to take 24 caplets a day..........With the Acacia I only use 5 tsp. a day. Am I correct in 1/2 tsp of Acacia is 1 gram of fiber?
So my questions is I have been taking citrucel caplets in the am and drinking my acacia in my mixed water through out the day........is this safe??? I know I cannot take fibercon or metamucil. Once again any help is greatly appreciated.

My second question is, I am scheduled for a Hysterectomy December 15 and I want any advice regarding keeping my bowels working properly through the anesthesia, hsopitilization, 36 hours of no food, etc. Do I continue with my fiber in the hospital and during my 36 hour no solids. I just know that when I have a colonoscopy, I usually don't have a BM for 5 days afterwards, but now I'm worried about the pain from the hysterectomy along with the pain from no BM's .............any help please.

Cheryl who is very desperate to poop (not anymore)......sorry, I thought I NEVER say that.
