I take vicodin primarily for muscle/joint pain but it does help my tummy as well and I have taken it specifically for that. I have to be careful though because vicodin is constipating. If you are IBS D this would be a bonus. I know how you feel though. I had to adjust my thinking on this because people and often docs are so against narcotic pain relievers. Thankfully I have had a couple of docs who have told me they would rather see me functioning on vicodin than curled up in ball in bed. It is not a problem as long as you are not exceeding the dosage recommended by your doctor. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
