I've been doing the IBS diet for a couple weeks now and adding the Acacia. Felt like it was making a huge difference. Then the last two days I've been feeling gassy and today--diarrhea.
Don't know what went wrong. Upped my Acacia from 2 tsp a day to 2-1/2. Had chinese noodles last night and they had wheat flour in them. Could that be it? Not sure what else is different. Been eating pretty basic: english muffins, applesauce, chicken, banana bread. Not much variety.
Was feeling really hopeful and was looking forward to a women's retreat in a couple weeks. Now I'm not so sure. If you're doing good at 2 tsp of Acacia, should you up it or just stay there? It's so far from the daily suggested.
