I posted this in the Living Room, but it's too funny to miss so sharing it here, too. Sorry if it offends anyone, I doubt it will though.
I have to spend part of Thanksgiving at my grandparents in Louisiana. Eric and the kids are not coming because it would cost too much for all of us to fly, and for that matter, why should we all suffer? Can you tell I'm not thrilled? It's way too much to go into. ANYWAY, my brother in law was over last night, he's a riot. We got talking about Thanksgiving plans and he said, "So are you going to be okay down there with everybody?" And I said "Of course, I'm used to it." And he said, "You're not going to get all worked up and get your stomach all a wreck are you?" I said, "I don't know, I hope not!" He's sweetly blunt and to the point. So he says, "You know, if it comes down to it, I can't think of a worse insult that to just look somebody dead in the face and say, You know what? You literally give me the sh*#'s!!" OH man, I was crying I was laughing so hard - you all think that would make the point??? ha!!!!!!!
