Beware: Calcium Carbonate and Nexium       07/19/06 12:55 PM Edit Reply Quote Life.Is.Random Reged: 03/06/06 Posts: 310 Loc: NJ This is just a warning, but my acupuncturist informed me that Calcium Carbonate actually slows the stomach's emptying time! This type of calcium is used in antacids to help people with heartburn and such. I've also found out that Nexium can slow the stomach's emptying time, too.
