Acacia is one of the main reasons that I am usually stable. Start adding it to your diet.

My wife and son eat most of what I do on the ibs diet, and when I am off from work I like to cook. I cook items that are good for my diet and freeze the left overs to take to work. When my 18 year old is around I cook some items that he likes which are not on the diet, but things he enjoys such as red meat.

Most of the food items my family doesn't even associate with my diet. Like the brown sugar banana bread ... I can't convince them that it's not loaded with things that will get me to the bathroom all night long.

Look at the recipes, pick and choose, your family will never know for sure if they are eating all ibs safe foods are not!
