She's had it for about 10yrs so it's been a lot of experimentation but this is what she knows. Her's is a food allergy. Any processed foods like chips, pretzels, doughnuts, mostly junk foods,etc and dairy products. If your following Heather's diet the dairy shouldn't be an issue. You may have different food sensitivities so experiment. Her doctor put her on a med called "Cortafoam (sp?)" that absolutely gives her total relief when she has a flareup. She said she never lets that med run out especially if she is traveling and more prone to not eating properly. But to avoid the attacks she avoids most processed foods completely. You could ask your doctor about this med and see what they say. Her doc has only had one other patient with this same problem.
