(sorry to be so graphic). I've been told my IBS-D is all through my bowels, not just one area. Its all. I called my doctor to make a note of it...I think I"m going to call today to make an appointment though..because I'm not convinced the nurse gave her the message. I guess I am nervous that I don't see a GI. See the GI I saw last December said he doesn't regularly see IBS patients and that he is confident that GP's can handle IBS patients. I LOVE my GP, but I"m a little nervous because of the way I feel, if I'd be better off with a specialist. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings because I"ve seen the GP sicne I was 12.
