My friend and I at the time were 5'4" at most and people kept calling us "amazons"! Hilarious. I certainly had never been called that before! I just kept thinking to myself (I had similar experiences living in Mexico), "wow...if this were the US, everyone would be like, what a racist/rude thing to say"...In Mexico they used to whistle and call me 'guera' (white girl). Nice. Pale AND big feet. I've got a honker of a schnozz to go with it. Hopefully Atomic Rose got the pic I emailed. Maybe you'll see my mug one of these days! Ha.
