My doc told me that endo can be a very individualized disease and that it depends on the person on whether or not stopping the periods stops the endo, or just stops the symptoms. I actually haven't done any research on this lately, so I can't be sure. I've had troubled periods since I was 14 (i'm 27 now) so the relief from taking the pill continuously has been a god-send.
