Mine doesn't function at all       03/05/06 12:07 PM Edit Reply Quote Augie Reged: 10/27/04 Posts: 5807 Loc: Illinois The hida scan showed it functions at 4%! But I don't think I get attacks. The docs are afraid to take it out because of the fear of chronic D as a result without really helping my IBS symptoms. Do you have any thoughts on whether I should have mine removed? I have found a surgeon who is willing to do it. Do you feel better now? Or are the IBS symptoms still bad? Are you a D or a C, Serenity?
