I recently saw something on my local news station about how Pam contains silicone, which purportedly is harmful to humans and may cause all sorts of bad things (cancer included of course) if ingested for long periods of time. Since I assume a lot of us here probably use Pam I thought I'd pass this on.

The good thing, the news report pointed out, is that Mazola came out with its own non-stick cooking spray called Mazloa pure. It has no alcohol or silicone in it and stacks up the same as Pam in the nutritional department. I got some the other day and tried it out and can't tell a difference in taste. It comes in olive oil, canola oil and some other one I can't remember.

Anyway, for what it's worth, I thought I'd share.
