Re: What can I eat after colonoscopy?       02/18/06 07:28 PM Edit Reply Quote retrograde Reged: 04/15/04 Posts: 1569 For me post-colonoscopy (particularly post-colonoscopy-prep) was just like post-attack, since the prep was kind of just like a major bowel-emptying attack. So I just ate like I would post-attack - really safely and gently. What you're doctor's telling you to eat is what doctors always tell patients who have/have had D to eat, but that's not always (or even usually) best for IBS patients. Really safe for IBS means the WTWYCEA diet (all-SF). I think I ate that for a day and a bit then started adding other foods back in. Just ate really safely and gently, basically. HTH.
