Bentyl allergy here       02/13/06 06:50 PM Edit Reply Quote melitami Reged: 02/23/04 Posts: 1213 Loc: Ewing, NJ, USA (IBS-D, Vegetarian) I am allergic to Bentyl, found out by taking it for a few days and then my arms and hands began shaking uncontrollably. Was taken care of by an ER visit to get an injection of Benadryl and then oral Benadryl for a few days while the Bentyl got completely out of my system. If you are allergic, it probably would have showed up sooner than two weeks after taking it, I would think, but I could be wrong. Definitely talk to your doctor, and take some Benadryl in the meantime to help with the hives.
