Please help! I have had Fibromyalgia (and IBS w/C)and have almost reversed it by following an anti-candida diet for the past 10mths. No Sugar, no white anything - bread rice etc. oatmeal ok, have intolerance to dairy, no wheat on the anti-candida diet. Yes I do eat, but I have to work at it.

Though right now I am right at the border of unhealthy weight, 5'3" and 110 lbs on a good day. Recently I started keeping track of my foods and tried to increase my calories w/o aggrivating the yeast (it had been really bad until I started the anti-c diet) Since I don't eat breads or rice, I use beans and nuts, and of course olive oil and avocados to get some more calories. This past week I have eaten to much each day trying to gain some weight. Hubby says I'm trying to get fat on health food!

I read Heather's article on gaining weight, but my IBS w/constipation so unbelievable because I increased my calories to quickly.

Can Heather or anyone guide me on how to gain weight yet not eat a lot of fats and white products? The fats seem to make me feel yucky.

Your help is appreciated.

Hugs,
Dee
