Hi Everyone

I just joined up today and have to say this is a fabulous site.

Anyway, I was semi diagnosed as an IBS-A sufferer in December after the horrid Flexi C found nothing bad. So good news to me really.

I have had pain and discomfort for around 3 years and as yet have never been able to find the trigger that has casued me the daily pain and problems.

Some time ago during the diagnostic stages I was tested for Coeliac diseas but that came out clear. However I have, 2 weeks ago decided to eliminate wheat from my diet for a few weeks to see how it goes. I have to say things are going well and I have had little to no pain this week.

My question, is it possible to not have Coeliac disease but an intolerance to wheat. wheat being the trigger etc?

Thanks in advance.
