I've been eating So Soya on this diet for many years and I think that it comes from Canada. I've only been able to find it online, never in a U.S. store, and I usually order about 20 boxes (of the strips) at a time. The "ground" pretty much tastes and looks just like TVP, so I don't waste my $ on that. I use the strips in just about every recipe that calls for chicken. Since it's just fat-free soy flour, it's a great substitute. I've reconstituted it in just about everything I can think of, but my favorite is soaking it in fat-free chicken broth. I've served these "chicken nuggets" to guests who thought it tasted much better than the real thing (quick and dirty recipe: soak in broth, drain broth, dump about 1/4 cup of flour in a Ziploc, add some season salt and pepper, shake it up, add the nuggets, shake it up, spray a pan with Pam, fry it up - voila! - I like to serve 'em with Annie's honey mustard for dipping). Anyway, here's the link to the site that I purchase it from: http://www.sosoyaplus.com/
