There's a fair amount of birth control info out on the web, so it might be a good idea to do a bit of research on your own before meeting with the doc. Association of Reproductive Health Professionals EngenderHealth - one of my fave charities I've found that gynecologists tend to have more info than GPs, but I also ran into some gyns that treated me like an idiot when I was in my teens. The best defense is to inform yourself so you know if they're BSing you.
