If your family truly won't eat the foods that will make you well, then you may have to cook one thing for them and eat something else yourself. Here's a thread from someone who doesn't cook - the responses may give you some ideas about what you can eat without having to cook a second meal for yourself.

I have to say, though, that I haven't met anyone who doesn't like the burgers I talk about in that thread and I haven't met anyone who doesn't love Crockpot Bourbon Breast of Chicken - including my relatives who generally believe that if a meal isn't loaded with fat and dairy it isn't worth eating. Often, if you don't tell your family they're eating "your" food, they probably won't even notice.

Good luck with your doctor's appointment - let us know how it goes. The tests aren't fun, but they are necessary to rule out more serious conditions. And I second Maria's suggestion to find Heather's book, "The First Year". I'm very linear and find it easier to follow the diet information in that format, rather than jumping from screen to screen on the Website.

HTH. And welcome to the Boards.
