I had my hysterectomy in 1983. I already had IBS then, but I didn't realize it. So no, the hysterectomy didn't have anything to do with the IBS.

Is the Hormone Replace Therapy working for you, I hope? I've been on estrogen FOREVER but still had the WORST menopause imaginable, which lasted for over 20 years. I'm just now seeing a relief in the hot flashes. WHEW!

Stick with Heather's program religiously, and you'll eventually get stable. It took me 3 years.
