Hi Lucrece,

I've been on the pill for many years. First as a means of regulating my cycle (which was really irregular) and now as a means of birth control as well. I have never had any noticable problems with my tummy from taking the pill, other than the initial week of beginning taking it when I got a bit nauseous, which is a completely normal side effect.

I agree with Gracie. The best thing for you to do, especially since you are young as you say, is to discuss your options with your doctor, or go a health clinic such as Planned Parenthood. Ask the doctor his/her opinion as to what pill is best suited for your needs. I'd aim for as low a dose as possible, such as Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo or Lutera, which are very gentle hormones.
