It is very interesting to get some feedback. I think this is a curious case. I do not get depressed or stressed in winter. I don't celebrate christmas and don't get together with family. I am not cold and have no trouble sleeping, but every winter my bloating and pain/D episodes gets way way worse. I guess it is a mystery. I am only bummed out right now because 2 days this week I had AM D and felt crappy all day long, couldn't do my usual stuff and felt like a loser. Otherwise I like the clouds and winter cold. So it seems like this might be more of a personal thing. At least the winter clothes cover bloat better than summer clothes! I hate being bloated in a swimming suit.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
