This summer my parents' computer ate my recipe files and my boyfriend restored them but now they're all jumbled together and without names. It may take me days of straight work to get them in usable shape again. In the meantime, I haven't got access to my recipes.
My cookbooks are still packed or they got buried in my apartment in the unpacking process.
I'm under a great deal of stress from work. Work is stressful itself and I think I've concluded that I need to look for a new job, which is a stressor I don't even want to think about.
My apartment is a disaster, I mean, I can't see much of the floor or the dining room table or--you get the idea.
And I am NOT, may I repeat NOT, a morning person. But I've got to be at work by 7:30 (preferably more like 7, if I could manage it).
My point? I haven't been eating. Like, anything. No breakfast. Lunch if I pack it, which I mostly do, but sometimes I don't have a chance to eat (for example, I have two parent conferences tomorrow on my lunch hour). I haven't cooked dinner in weeks. And here I am moderating the recipe board. I'm such a hypocrite. My boyfriend knows how to cook, hmm, canned vegie soup poured over rice (it's better than you'd think), ramen noodles (oh, ugh!), and baked tapioca. That's it.
Obviously, I need help.
Would a dietician be of any use, or is it likely that I know more about eating for IBS than s/he would? And do most insurance companies cover appointments with registered dieticians?
Okay, sorry to take up your time with this long, rambly post. I'm going to bed now....
