It's great that this approach works for you, but since this is a support Board for people on Heather's diet, I want to point out that colon cleansing is directly antithetical to Heather's approach to IBS. Heather's approach is based on soothing the colon to reduce spasms. Colon cleansing irritates the colon, hence the cramps you mention. Anyone considering doing a colon cleanse can do a Board Search and find lots of past posts on this subject.
Also, dairy is an IBS trigger and the fact that it didn't have immediate consequences doesn't mean it isn't causing problems. Finally, in my opinion, making 1/2 of a meal SF is safer than just 1/4 and, except for zuchinni and mushrooms, the vegetable choices you list would destroy my stomach unless I ate them with a solid SF base.
I'm not saying this approach isn't worth considering for people who aren't doing well with Heather's diet, I'm just saying this approach runs counter to Heather's approach and I don't think you can combine the two.
