Gastin and gastrinoma       10/14/03 11:04 AM Edit Reply Quote mamaraggi Reged: 03/12/03 Posts: 19 Loc: Davie, Florida Hi everybody! Well after four fun filled days with a nasogastric tube up my nose into my stomach in the hospital, I'm home now four days and starting to feel more human. My question is : has anyone had a gastrin test? I read up on this and why this blood test is done and it is scary. My gastin levels are elevated. The doc has said prior to now its IBS-D but is now re-evaluating this. I go for a endoscopy and colonoscopy combo next week and will see if my stomach ling is more torn up than last time (which it was). People have said that what I've had doesn't sound like IBS but the gastinoma sure sounds worse. Thanks for the input. Betsy Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
