That's what I'm thinking, too! My tummy is mad!! 
I have never tried Aciphex. I have been on all of them so far except for aciphex and I like Nexium the best. I don't have any of the side effects at all. Not even the D, I don't think. Well, it was the same before I started taking it as it is now.....I had horrible side effects from Prevacid, Prilosec, Protonix and Prevacid. They ALL made me nauseated!! I couldn't even eat after I took the pill, it was so bad.....HORRIBLE!
But, I'm glad that Aciphex works for you. I have thought about the same thing......trying to come off of it to have a baby. One of my friends also has a hiatal hernia like me, and she has been pregnant 3 times now and couldn't come off the Prilosec. She has had 2 very rough pregnancies and lost her 2nd baby a week after it was born. So, I don't know if it was the Prilosec or not. The doctors, of course, say that it's not the drugs. I don't know....
